The Centers ofUniversity Collegefoster, focus and coordinate civic and community engagement and research. As such, the College Centers engage in a variety of activities, such as:

1. Fostering collaborations and approaches across disciplines and sectors (e.g., education, business, social service and government agencies, faith communities, and grass root organizations).
2. Providing opportunities for faculty, students, and staff to get engaged and contribute their expertise in searching for solutions to challenges in local and global communities.
3. Developing new models, providing expertise, and creating linkages to address relevant issues.
4. Conducting, publishing, and disseminating results of sponsored research, polling, open-ended interviewing, mass media educational communication, teleconferencing, online and print communication, cross-cultural consultation, training, conferences, and other media.
