COST OF ATTENDANCE (COA): WHAT IT IS — AND WHAT IT ISN’T

Your education is an investment in your future. At Millersville University we believe it's important to understand the costs of that investment. That’s why we want to help you understand the full picture of what your education may cost so you can plan ahead with confidence.

Let's start with the most important thing to know:

  • The Cost of Attendance (COA) is not your bill — it’s a planning tool.

Think of it like a personalbudget. It estimates all the potential expenses for one academic year. This includes both the expenses you be billed for directlyandother costs you might need to cover while you are in school.

Whats Included in the COA?

Direct Charges: These arebilled by Millersville (things liketuition, fees, and (if you are living on campus) housing and meal plan.

Indirect Expenses: These arenot billed by Millersville, but they are real potentialcosts you should plan for (like books, supplies, transportation, personal expenses, etc.)

Each COA is Different

Your personal COA will vary depending on: several factors such as your program and degree type, whether your primary residence is in-state (PA) or out-of-state, what your housing plans are, how many credits you are taking, and more.
