Student Refunds

Refund Overview

Millersville University regularly reviews accounts andprocesses refundsfor eligible students. The process begins after the drop/add period for the semester as outlined in the applicable Refund Policy below. You may be eligible to receive a refund if your account has been overpaid. This can occur ifthe amount of financial aidor other fundingreceived exceeds your cost. Once your account has been fully resolvedand reviewed by the necessary offices, any excess funds are refunded.

Refunds are issued based on the last payment method received on your accountwhich resulted in the overpayment. If your account was paid by credit card, a refund will be issued to your credit card. If your account was paid by an outside scholarship, we may be required to return the funds to the scholarship donor. Accounts funded by a donor or contractpayment must be received before we can process your refund. Anticipatedfundswillnotberefunded until the actual payment is received.
